We have so much to share… to make up for the lack of updates here since 2014.
We aren’t dead here. Despite the bare content here, we have been regularly organising meetups (32 thus far) and 2 WordCamps since 2014. We have had excellent speakers, great crowd, awesome community and supportive sponsors. We continue to look forward to more of you joining us on the epic journey of WordPress.
Our content are mostly on elsewhere. From when we have relaunched WordPress User Group Singapore, we have access to plenty of tools that weren’t available previously. It is only right that we give them a shout out.
Engineers.SG

Engineers.SG is a fruit of labour by Michael Cheng, a long time fixture in the local tech community in Singapore. The aim of this platform is to have most, if not all tech meetups recorded for the benefit of those who can’t attend the meetups, a problem that became more apparent when there were more meetups being held concurrently in different locations.
Barring unforeseen circumstances, we always had our meetups recorded by them. You can catch our speakers in the action on Engineers.sg:
Meetup.com
Meetup.com is the events management platform that we are using. Our meetup group, WordPress Singapore, is sponsored by WordPress Foundation.
Slack
We are using Slack as our mode of communications for anything related to WordPress.org. To join us on Slack, see our guide here!
Facebook Group and Page
These are primarily to reach out to the Facebook users. There are 4.9 million Facebook users in Singapore afterall.
What’s next
Obviously, meetups. We have Shaan and Zion joining us in the running of the WordPress Meetups in Singapore. And there is a long list of topics that we can speak about. We are also looking for speakers! Reach us through Slack and/or Meetup.com!.
WordCamp Singapore 2019 is coming up. We are looking for more organisers, speakers and volunteers. We are in the midst of setting up the digital presence, but you can reach out to us at camp [a|t] wpug[dot]sg, or Slack if you are interested.
