We use Slack as our main mode of communications.
What is Slack?
Slack is an online chat platform for teams. After many years of IRC, the WordPress.org team moved all of their conversations on Slack. This has made having conversations to do with the WordPress.org project much easier to have, regardless of technical ability. You can read more about their decision at chat.wordpress.org.
WordPress.org’s workspace can be accessed through chat.wordpress.org.
WordPress Singapore’s Slack Workspace
Our Slack workspace is primarily used by the organisers for WordPress Singapore Meetups and WordCamp Singapore to organise the monthly meetups and yearly WordCamp. We encourage our community members to participate through this platform as much as possible.
What This Workspace is Not
Collectively, we are not a support channel for your issues that you may have with your WordPress setup. WordPress.org has an impressive team of volunteers and resource for that and we don’t want to be replicate that here.
